Oasis Alternative Health Foundation's 3-fold purpose is: (1) to provide scholarships for research in the realm of alternative forms of treatment, (2) to provide financial support to those undergoing alternative treatment(s) and (3) to provide scholarships for those seeking certification or other educational advancement in alternative treatment(s) as providers or potential providers.
HELPING INDIVIDUALS AFFORD ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS
Helping The Community
Alternative treatments are, by and large, fee for service and not covered by major insurance plans. Individuals may be unable to avail themselves of alternative or complementary courses of therapy or perhaps afford some, but not all of the therapies needed. Your donation stretches an individual’s dollars through matching funds distributed to their provider(s).
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING
Reinforcing our Commitment
The rise of effective alternative therapies has encouraged people to consider becoming practitioners. From courses of study for Doctor of Naturopathy, Doctor of Chiropractic, Health Coaching, Registered Massage Therapy, Acupuncturist (to name but a few), the need for assistance toward certification and education grows daily. The more students able to attend quality courses of study elevates the overall quality of alternative care. Oasis Alternative Health Foundation desires to support such educational goals with matching fund scholarships for legitimate courses of study. Such funds will be distributed directly to the institution(s) on behalf of the awarded student. Your donation strengthens the quality of alternative providers both now and into the future.
ALTERNATIVE METHODS RESEARCH
One Step at a Time
The Foundation supports continued research in alternative therapies to improve overall modalities. The Foundation believes that just because a treatment or therapy is new or odd does not make it invalid or to be avoided. Centuries ago, Galileo and Copernicus were reviled for their ideas concerning the universe. Today we recognize that their ideas were correct. Support for research is critical to strengthening present treatments and therapies as well as uncovering new ones. The Foundation provides matching funds to applicants engaged in legitimate courses of research involving alternative health. Such funds are then distributed directly to the organization(s) or institution(s) of the applicant awarded. In this manner, you and the Foundation will be improving alternative care for all.
